About
Hi there, and welcome! I'm so glad you're here.
My name is Jessica Gamache, and I'm the flower farmer behind The Urban Wildflower Co. located in Pasco, Washington. What began as a budding interest in gardening has grown - quite literally - into a full-time passion for cultivating seasonal specialty cut flowers.
With a background in agriculture as the foundation for my curiosity about nature, I first started growing flowers in pots around my home and planted a few hardy rose bushes in the landscape. After tending to these new flower experiments in my free time, I realized I caught the "flower bug" to keep growing more beautiful flowers. Then for the next season, I bought some dahlia tubers and gave them a try in our landscape beds. Success! This led to taking courses that focused on specialty cut flower farming.
I planted my very first flower beds dedicated to flower farming in 2018, not knowing how deeply this work would root itself in my life. What started as a hobby quickly became something more: a connection to nature, a creative outlet, a calling I couldn't ignore. In 2021, I leaped into full-time flower farming, dedicating myself fully to growing beautiful, seasonal blooms for my community.
I specialize in tulips, peonies, dahlias, and garden roses - flowers that not only captivate with their beauty but also bring a certain magic to the people who receive them. These varieties have become the heart of my farm, and caring for them through the seasons has deepened my love for this work year after year.
Whether you're here for fresh-cut flowers, to learn more about seasonal blooms, or just to enjoy a peek into farm life, I'm so glad you stopped by. I hope my flowers bring a little extra joy and beauty into your world - just like they do in mine.
Warmly,
Jessica
